Owner and operator Larry Plotkin brings a wealth of
skill, knowledge and professional expertise to the
table. In addition to designing and manufacturing
surveillance systems from the ground up, he is a
certified law enforcement officer and firearms trainer
who has accumulated several thousand hours of education and training ranging in scope from the Drug Enforcement Agency's prestigious Advanced Narcotics Investigators School and Clandestine Lab Clean Up to the Federal Bureau of Investigation's Hostage Negotiations and Fingerprint Classification courses, just to name a few.
Throughout his long tenure in law enforcement, Larry has successfully completed numerous SWAT training courses with both private and municipal organizations to include: Countermeasures Tactical Institute; Miami-Metro Dade SWAT; and Ogden (Utah) Police Department's renowned "Hell Week" sponsored by the city's Metro SWAT team. Larry is a meth lab tactical entry and active shooter instructor.
As a certified trainer in both New Mexico and Florida, Larry has taught more than 1,500 citizens (500+ hours) in "Self Defense Through Tactical Shooting courses. The class is designed to give civilians the opportunity to learn safe gun handling skills as well as the legal aspects of gun ownership. The course teaches aspects of state laws, firearms safety, and "shoot, don't shoot" scenarios with live ammo on the firing range.

Corporal Brian Adams
​Certified Trainer
​Corporal Brian Adams is a life-long resident of
Brevard County, Florida, with more than 22
years of law enforcement experience with
municipal, county and federal agencies.
Corporal Adams has 16 years of experience as a Florida State certified firearms instructor and is a 14-year veteran of the Sheriff’s Office Special Weapons and Tactics Team (SWAT), specializing in firearms, high risk search warrants, barricaded armed subjects, hostage situations, less lethal operations and dignitary protection.
Through his SWAT background, Brian has logged thousands of hours in real-world tactical firearms application. In addition to his duties as a SWAT member for the Sheriff’s Office, he is also assigned to the county’s Career Development Unit as a senior instructor, responsible for conducting firearms training for basic and advanced firearms users, both law enforcement and civilian. He is tasked by the Sheriff with designing and developing scenario based firearms training that deals with real-world events.
While working in Haiti for the United Nations Mission as a police mentor for the U.S. Department of State, Brian mentored and trained the Haitian National Police Force SWAT Team in firearms and tactics, where he developed lesson plans and training programs that were benchmarked by the United Nations. Additionally, Brian has worked with the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) in Haiti supporting and training the agency’s Tactical Response Team in weapons handling and tactical scenario training.
While contracted by the Department of Defense, he was attached to the U.S. Army at Fort Knox, Kentucky and instructed a basic M-9 pistol course for military personnel who were preparing for deployment to combat zones in the Middle East. His commendations and awards include the Sheriff’s Office Medal of Valor and Deputy of the Year for 2005. Brian is a member of the National Rifle Association and is a current NRA Patrol Rifle Instructor.
